DMC Presents: Mixmag - Fergie

Author: DMC
Friday, August 27, 2004
The Mixmag Live series was the world's first ever legitimate DJ mix series, and now it's back! From 1991 onwards the series showcased the talents of the world's leading DJs - Carl Cox, Masters at Work, Dimitri from Paris, Tom Middleton, DJ Hype, Aphrodite, Derrick Carter, LTJ Bukem, Laurent Garnier, Rae & Christian... to name but a few. Several volumes are still available thru DMC Distribution .

Fergie is a unique character in the world of dance music. When he first arrived on the scene in 2000 he was heralded as the future of dance music and his face appeared on the cover of the biggest dance music magazines out there. His fresh face and tough new sound was a tonic to everyone who heard him play. As his appeal grew so did his success. He secured a residency at the UK's top club Godskitchen, appeared at no.8 in the prestigious DJ magazine Top 100 chart, (the highest new entry ever), and landed his own show on Radio 1 (for which he's just signed an extended contract). He is a radio presenter, DJ, producer and champion of new talent. In short a consummate professional at the tender age of 24. In 5 years he has come a very long way indeed.
