DMC Competition Dates and Details

In less than a week's time, the DMC Technics World DJ Championships will kick off for another year. This K-Swiss and Motorola, present state heats in VIC, NSW, ACT, SA, QLD and WA during July with the finale Australian finals happening in Sunny Melbourne at the mighty Metro on August 13th. Adelaide's Staen 1, Australia's current solo Champ will be defending his title, so SA will have two competing DJ's in the National Finals.

Heats will take place on the following days around Australia:

VIC final - Friday 9th July -The Metro, Melbourne (feat Lyrical Commission, Reason & Fatface live)

NSW Final - Thursday 15th July - The Gaelic Club (feat. Celcius & Reason live)

QLD final - Thursday 29th July - Family (feat. 750 Rebelz & Reason live)

SA Final - Friday 23rd July - Rise (feat. Funkoars, Reason & Fatface Live)

WA final - Friday 23rd July - Heat (feat. Drapht & other local acts)

ACT final - Friday 23rd July - FM's Nightclub

Australian Finals - Friday 13th August - The Metro, Melbourne (featuring Muphin & Plutonic Lab plus more TBA) Tags
