Acclaimed electro-tech producer Kiki chatted to Skrufff this week about his upcoming Andrew Eldridge style single End Of The World and revealed that since recording the track, he subsequently started working with Sisters of Mercy guitarist Adam Pearson.

"Adam heard The End of The world and said it sounded quite like The Sisters," said Kiki, "though I've never met Andrew Eldritch (Eldritch is The Sisters infamous gravel voiced frontman and remaining torchbearer).

The nowadays Berlin based star admitted that he used to listen to the band when he was a child growing up in Finland in the early 80s.

"When I was really young, say eight or nine, we had a school band, and we were always trying to ape all the rock bands we liked at the time, bands like Kiss," he recalled.

"The Sisters of Mercy came a bit later and they were like the same idea we were trying to do with our first school band. I think The End Of The World for me personally is the kind of track we would have loved to have done back in those days, but we couldn't play any instruments then," he laughed.

The heavily Goth rock based track comes out on uber-cool Berlin electro/ techno label Bpitch shortly and is the first single off his brilliant debut album Run With Me (which also comes out shortly on BPitch).

('This is the official site of The Sisters Of Mercy. We are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. And intellectual love gods in our spare time. . .')

Andrew's original surname is "Taylor": Andrew Eldritch went to school with Jonathon Ross (UK TV presenter) )
