In the past five years, the duo of Matt Harvey and Evan Short have become one of New Zealand's highest profile and most respected dance acts. Smashing into the drum n bass arena with their epic, hard-as-nails "Morning Light" single, the pair has not only cracked this UK-centric scene they have sent the album platinum in their home country.
With the release of their manifesto, 'Uprising', licensed exclusively in Australia to Inertia Recordings, Concord Dawn are set to become one of the most talked about acts this year. Their unique fusion of nu-metal and drum n bass (check the Slayer sample in the single "Raining Blood") sets this release apart from the rest of the drum n bass pack. the album also features guest MCs Tiki from Salmonella Dub and MC Scribe.
'Uprising' is released nationally February 2nd 2004 -with a national tour expected later this year.
