20 years in Everything But The Girl,
5 years in Lazy Dog,
...now Buzzin' Fly

Ben Watt presents his new deep house mix CD, his first since the massively successful Lazy Dog series, drawing on the emergent talent of his burgeoning underground label, Buzzin' Fly Records and the spirit of his recently opened West London club, Neighbourhood, where the Buzzin' Fly Sunday night session is setting the pace for the new inspirational deep house sound.

The 11 track 70 minute CD contains four unreleased Buzzin' Fly gems, one brand new exclusive Watt remix and six rare hand-picked licenses from the underground deep house scene.

Watt's trademark warmth and sweet harmonic directness are still there, but it is propelled by a crisp atmospheric flow and drive that is emotive and fresh. The mix looks to avoid over-played familiarity, heralding new breaking talent and lifts the lid on some over-looked classic dancefloor nuggets.

Highlights include Ben Watt's own brand new upcoming Buzzin' Fly single, 'A Stonger Man', featuring Sananda Maitreya ( previously known as Terence Trent D'Arby ), Charles Webster's exclusive new remix of Justin Martin's 2003 hit for Buzzin' Fly 'The Sad Piano', Sandy Rivera's tender-tough original mix of Cue's overlooked diamond 'Dreaming Of You' , Ben Watts remix of Tonight by Low, & Martin Solveig's swooning re-work of the Soldiers Of Twilight classic, 'Believe'

Out March 23 on Buzzin Fly through EQ/Stomp.
