Avenue D Slut With Scissor Sisters

Do I Look Like a Slut- New York duo Avenue D will be performing alongside fellow New York funsters Scissor Scissors next week, opening the Scissor Sisters' show at the Kentish Town Forum.

"We're friends, they're sweethearts and asked us to be on the bill when they heard we'd be in town," Debbie D told Skrufff this week, explaining how they'd landed the gig. "The Scissor Sisters kick ass."

Debbie and her band-mate Daphne are expected to be shaking their own asses across London clubland this week, including at the Cock ('the dirty birds are back and they're starting with the cock', as Cock man Jim Stanton put it) and Nag, Golf Sale, Electrogogo and Return To New York.

"We're just two nice girls tryin' to have some fun," Debbie insisted.
