Sarah Jane grew up in multi-cultural North London as part of a large family. Her mother, an accomplished South African performer and father a jazz musician and music enthusiast, provided the background for Sarah's interest in music, which started before she can remember.

After studying music and working consistently as a drummer from age ten Sarah began to broaden her performance skills to DJ-ing in 1999 and has taken to decks like a duck to water.

Her inaugural DJ residency is at London's leading and highly acclaimed hip-hop event KUNG FU, which she helped establish and is co-organiser to. Here she plays hip-hop, 70's soul, funk and rare grooves and continues to institute an indisputable reputation for herself as a versatile DJ and an overall contributor to the hip-hop scene in the UK.

As well as completing a BA Hons degree in Popular Music & Recording, at one of the UK's premiere music schools. Sarah has been performing in clubs and on radio throughout the globe and holds down further residencies in London at BOUJIE NITES, KUNG FU PRESENTS and in Manchester at LUVIBE.

Sarah has supported most of the best hip-hop acts in the UK including; JEHST, THE EXTENDED PLAYERS, MYSTRO, TASKFORCE, BRAINTAX, KLASHNEKOF, LEWIS PARKER, ROOTS MANUVA (to name a few) and THE ROOTS, Q-TIP, J-ZONE, THE OUTSIDAS, DIALATED PEOPLES and is an official 'MTV SOUNDSYSTEM' DJ, with whom she has toured across Europe with alongside PUMA Clothing.

Sarah is no stranger to radio either and has presented regular primetime shows on London's most talked about strictly hip-hop FM broadcaster ITCH FM, in Manchester on 106FM, Fuse FM and on BBC Commonwealth Radio and DAB's number one station for urban music, BBC 1Xtra.

Currently, Sarah and partner HARRY LOVE have launched the much-talked about and anticipated MEDICATION RECORDS, which debuted in May 2004 with 12 INCHES OF HARRY LOVE VOL. I - 'SUPRIZE!'/'LIVE FROM LONDON', which has enjoyed only positive reviews. The label is set to showcase the cream of homegrown talent on the beats and the Mic.

In addition to her musical work Sarah's influence has reached the world of Children's literature,
In June 2004 Picadilly Press published 'One girl two decks three degrees of love' by Johnny Zucer, a children's book about young female DJ from North London inspired by Sarah Love.

After working as a DJ for only four years, Sarah has raised the stakes in her field, setting the standard for aspiring DJs, female or otherwise! And with her musical accomplishments expanding to include composition, arranging, song writing, engineering and production, Sarah Love is set to make waves in the British music scene.
