Armand Joins The Wu Tang Clan

Hip hop obsessed New York house producer Armand Van Helden has emerged from his self-imposed exile to release two tracks on the new album by Wu Tang Clan Long Beach members Christ Bearer and Meko (released under the name Bobby Digital Presents Northstar).

Despite being one of dance culture's most successful and influential producer, Van Helden has long appeared to loathe it, telling Skrufff three years ago 'dance music, at the end of the day, is very disposable.

"Dance music as a whole in America is looked at as the least important music, on radio, on TV or anywhere," he continued.

"Because it doesn't deliver anything that's meaningful over time, whereas hip hop does; hip hop give you a story."
