Breaks pioneer Adam Freeland chatted to Skrufff this week about the recent demise of his record label Marine Parade and said he hopes to have a new label operation in place as early as September.

"Marine Parade has gone in to liquidation as a direct result of the fall out from the 3MV liquidation (our ex distributor)," Adam explained, "it has no reflection on the state of the music industry, and actually we're one of the fortunate few labels selling more records than ever."

"We're moving forwards as fast as possible to set up a new label and carry on releasing the music we feel passionate about," he added.

"The only works in progress that this has immediately stalled are the Evil Nine album and the Freeland Mindkiller single. Both should get full releases in September. So it's a pain in the arse, to happen at this time, but we're over it and moving forwards," he stressed.
