We return home to Room 680 with a special international guest, and a monster local line-up which brings uplifting trance back to the masses.
Southampton based 24 year old dj / producer Gareth Emery (GTR), is one of the U.K's fastest rising young talents, developing a huge reputation throughout Europe and finishing just outside the top 100 dj's in the prestigious Mixmag annual listing. His profile includes appearances at major clubs such as Gatecrasher, Passion, Slinky, & The Gallery.
As a producer, GTR released "Mistral", one of the biggest tunes in dance music last year, appearing on numerous compilations (including Tiesto's Nyana), and being hammered by all the top dj's including Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, and Ferry Corsten. "Mistral" has become a true anthem, and still fires the dancefloor into a frenzy with it's epic build ups and melodies.
GTR's new track "Reason to believe" has just been released and it's sublime melody has ensured it has already been added to the playlist of all major dj's around the world.
GTR is the label boss of Five am records, and has toured across Europe and China on a Five am records world tour, now also taking in Australia. What better place to showcase the tour than 5AM Australia!
Supported by an awesome array of established and emerging local trance talent, both rooms will be rocking to the foundations. Budding superstars Jeremy K, Miss Mel, Julian Reynolds, Albert Mangler, Reemo, Steve Strangis, Dave Begic, Chris Pana, Miss T, Reuben Owen, Citrus, Pat Mar, Dj Shelden, and Marshall Thompson bring you as much trancey goodness as your daily intake allowance can handle.
