The time has come once again for all of the DJs on the planet to start preparing routines that are tighter than Warwick Cappers footy shorts for this year's DMC Technics World DJ Championships.

In 2003, Australian solo champion Staen 1, placed 9th in the World Finals in London despite breaking a needle, so the hunt is on to find the best DJ in each state to rival him at the Australian finals in Melbourne on the 13th of August.

As with every year, the final in each state will ooze excitement as seasoned battlers go up against the new up comers, all hoping to take home huge prize packs and earn their place in DJ history. As well as the competition, the night will feature local live acts and DJ's, and stacks of audience giveaways.

The aussie finals will also feature the DMC Team battle, where teams of up to 4 DJs compete against the reigning 3-time champs, Melbourne's Dirty Duo. Consisting of DJs J-Red and Selekt, the Dirty Duo finished 4th at last years World final and are looking to book their flight back to London again this year.

Stay tuned for more details over the coming weeks.
