!!! Blast Giuliani As New York's Notorious Mayor Remarries

Notorious anti-club zealot Rudolph Giuliani got married for the third time last weekend at a ceremony presided over by his replacement, the equally puritanical new Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg.

The infamously anti-pleasure Ex-mayor married his erstwhile mistress Judith Nathan, who supplanted his second wife Donna Hanover, (who herself replaced his first wife Regina Peruggi, amazingly Giuliani's second cousin, the Independent reported).

Giuliani's zero tolerance policies saw a 50 fold jump in cannabis arrests in the city, from 720 a year in 1992, to 33,471 a year, which he combined with a relentless campaign against nightclubs, which culminated in the closure of Twilo in 2001. His anti dance music actions, though, also inspired hotly tipped US punk/funk outfit !!!, whose excellent single Me & Giuliani Down By The School Yard comes out on Warp Records in two weeks.

"I do believe that there must come a moment when even the piggiest pig must get on up and move it,…, but what I'd like to know is can Giuli do the stroll," the track's lyrics say.

"Giuliani's got his rules but we ain't fools, let's break 'em... 'Footloose'."
