Yoshitoshi is gearing up to celebrate its 100th vinyl release. The Washington DC-based imprint was set up by Deep Dish aka Ali 'Dubfire' Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi back in '94 and has gone on to become one of the most globally respected independents.

To celebrate this landmark achievement in their history, Yoshitoshi have put together a special package featuring four of the label's classic hits remixed by some of today's hottest production talent. Eddie Amador's 'House Music' gets a retouch from Belgian duo, Filterheadz, Luzon's 'The Baguio Track' gets a makeover from producers Chus & Ceballos of Spanish label, Iberican Sound. US producer, That Kid Chris takes on Alcatraz' 'Giv Me Luv' and Ireland's Phil Kieran rehashes the 6400 Crew's 'Dubb Me Some'tin Fresh'.

Joint label chief, Tayebi says, "When we started Yoshitoshi eight years ago, we had one goal, to release quality dance music. The fact that we've reached 100 releases is a testament to all the great artists that have contributed to the label."

The label's 'In House We Trust' compilation series, which will see its third instalment mixed by Luke Fair & Desyn Masiello released in early June. Meanwhile, Yoshitioshi sub-labels Shinichi Recordings and YO Recordings, continue to thrive.
