Puritanical American politicians filed yet another anti-nightlife bill to the House of Representatives this week, going even further than the draconian laws recently passed and labelled the RAVE Act.

The latest bill (HR2962) directly targets electronic music promoters and club owners, making them unequivocally responsible for any drugs offences taking place on their premises, and liable to 20 years in jail, if convicted.

With Congress specifically including clubs within their definition of 'raves' last year, America's entire nightlife industry could face extinction when the new laws are enacted.
