British police busted a free outdoor party hosted by Smokescreen over the bank holiday weekend and impounded the crew's sound system, according to a statement issued by the Midlands collective this week.

After first ordering the 200 assembled revellers to leave the Derbyshire Mooreland they'd gathered on, local cops them stopped both lorries carrying the rig 'some distance from the site' and seized all the crew's musical equipment.

"No arrests, but no system, so no parties for some time to come (at least in Derbyshire,) and no real logic behind any of it," said the Smokescreen statement.

"The Criminal Justice Bill looms large-Sorry folks, it's still not safe to go back in the woods."
