Tricky and the Chili Peppers

When Red Hot Chili Pepper's management posed the question "Well who is this guy Tricky- We sell 23 million albums or whatever. This guy he's not on our Soundscan," things weren't looking all that great for the Bristolian trip hopster.

Apparently the Chili's had wanted to collaborate with Tricky for some time but the album 'Blowback' suffered some serious delays due to the bands management. "It was almost like I was begging them to clear it," Tricky said.

Vowing never to work with them again, Tricky has opted to calling the Chili's the 'little girls' after their new album.

"My attitude is like I don't want to work with your band. I don't even listen to your band, so just forget about it, but it was too late then… So we had to put back my single because of their album. 'Little pop stars', they're just like little girls, man."

Tricky's latest album 'Vulnerable' is to be released in Australia shortly.
