To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Throbbing Gristle's performance at the Architectural Association on 3rd March 1978, the AA will be constructing a site specific installation using the original sound recording lasting exactly 60 minutes - the duration of the original performance.

The Architectural Association's 1978 performance is available on the limited edition release, TG24 - a hand made box set of 24 individually packaged CDs, encompassing the majority of TG's live output and sensitively remastered by Chris Carter. TG24, released in association with Mute, the original members of Throbbing Gristle and founders of Industrial Records (Chris Carter, Genesis P-Orridge, Cosey Fanni Tutti & Peter Christopherson) and is out now with a new compilation due out in the summer.

The original concert at the AA in 1978 was instigated by architect Bernard Tschumi who was then teaching at the Architectural Association, well-known as a bastion of the avant garde and for its radical agenda.
