After 7 stunning releases, the UK's Vudu Recordings is sadly no more. The current D. Ramirez slammer "Freaque On" will not be coming out on Vudu, but will, however, launch the exciting new label, SLAVE for D. Ramirez.

Vudu had quickly become one of the most eagerly anticipated Tech House/Nu-Skool Tribal labels showcasing the production talents of D.Ramirez (and friends) in his many guises. Tracks including Cuba 2's "House Musak", Rambo "Turn It Up" (D.Ramirez and Tom Stephan), D.Ramirez pres Venus and Mars "You Can't Handle this" (Seb's Vip and a Pete Tong fav) and Deepgroove vs Tony Thomas "Supergroove" which all became clubland anthems with support from DJs around the globe. Vudu was also very popular with DJs such as Seb Fontaine, Pete Tong, Tom Stephan, Jon Carter, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler and X-Press 2.

Carrying on where Vudu left off, the new Slave label will be releasing some of the UK's fiercest singles, showcasing the "Hi Octane, Nu-Skool Tribal" dance sound of D.Ramirez and guests.

Forthcoming releases will include the awesome collaboration between D.Ramirez and Sondos producing superstars, Piliavin And Zimbardo, "Testify" and features the amazing vocal talents of Steve Edwards. There are also signings from the fantastic Argentinean duo London 909 and Muzik Award winners and recent Junior signing Deepgroove, as well as remixes from Seamus Haji, Piliavin and Zimbardo and D.Ramirez himself.

This is the start of another exciting chapter…the underground just got bigger.
