Held yearly the Melbourne Electronic Music Festival festivities aim to foster electronic music based multi arts and promote the extensive talent based in Melbourne.

The festival features a program of both public and industry events including: showcases, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, in store appearances, clubs, bars, parties and the grand finale free outdoor all ages mega event - MEMF Sound Off!

The MEMF 2003 festival program covers a wide range of multi-arts associated with electronic music, and presents an expansive study into this diverse and exciting culture.

Daily sessions presented by leading local, interstate and O/S industry professionals.

- Music For the Future (5.1 showcase)

- Recycle, Recycle, Recycle (politics of remix and sampling)
- In my own words (an intimate session featuring very special O/S guests)
- Fight for your Right! (a look into the global fight to stage "techno" events)

Film Festival
Hosted by Springtime Productions @ E2E4 MEMF Film Festival screens Electronic Music based documentaries, showcases, film clips and shorts set to inspire.

Industry Conference
Daily workshops, panels and showcases for those with some previous industry experience or looking to enter the industry.
Sessions held daily @ Seven Nightclub

This program covers various current topics affecting the local electronic music community including:
Global Industry insight, Marketing, Publicity, Management, Labels, Publishing, Music Law, Arts Funding, Event Management, new equipment.
