Techno Guru Gives Up His Labels

Acclaimed Scottish techno/tech-house producer Chris Cowie (aka X Cabs aka Vegas Soul) has walked away from his own Hook and Bellboy labels to concentrate on DJing and production, Chris told Skrufff this week.

"It's time for me to move on, I've settled in the Hague (Holland) having moved here from Barcelona three months ago, it was all part of the decision of me leaving the labels," said Chris.

"I'm very thankful for the 13 years I've had with the labels, they've enabled me to see and do a lot of things," Chris added.

"I've travelled the world and worked with loads of interesting characters which I'm sure would never had happened otherwise."

Chris' former label partner Stuart will be continuing to run both Hook and Bellboy Recordings, he added.
