Tasty Tim Welcomes Moscow Kissing Crackdown

Italo-house DJ legend Tasty Tim responded enthusiastically to last week's story about Russia's plans to imprison couples caught kissing on the subway (tube) from the New Year, telling Skrufff 'what a terrific idea, I wonder if Mayor Ken Livingstone (London's boss) has heard of it-'

The legendary cross-dressing jock DJed in Russia several weeks ago (his fourth trip of the year) and experienced a markedly different Moscow nightlife to the 'polite and cool, European-style clubs' Electroclash founder Larry Tee described.

"The first place my hosts took me to was gay club 'The Three Monkeys, where two nude go-go boys literally slap you in the face as you walk in," said Tim.

"There was a delicious sleazy undercurrent throughout the club, it was like a decadent gay club from a bygone era."

"Moscow's got great clubs, a fantastic underground system and did I mention the most beautiful men-" he added.

"And best of all, no yukky public displays of affection; I'm moving to Moscow now."
