Smith & Selway To Go Electroclash-

Renowned techno duo Christian Smith and John Selway have admitted they'll be including vocals and electro on their upcoming debut artist album, which is expected to be released early next year.

The decision marks a significant departure for the pair, though the pair have long flirted with genre crossing tracks.

"The first record I did with John Selway for In-Tec ended up being played by Jeff Mills, Paul Oakenfold and Danny Tenaglia," Christian told Skrufff's Camilo Rocha last year.

"I was shocked because I never expected that. It's definitely not something I plan, when you're in the studio you just do the best you can. Even Judge Jules has played my stuff on the radio and I was totally surprised."

The New York based Swedish expatriate is currently on a global tour taking in The Americas, South East Asia and mainland Europe, a similarly wide departure from his first job after leaving college almost ten years ago.

"I worked in a bank for two years, the money was good but I was working too much, I hated it, I hated the job, the place and the people," said Christian.

"I think it's more important to be happy than to make a lot of money."
