Singapore Sex Cop Goes Down For 2 Years

Authorities in Singapore this week sentenced a 27 year old cop to two years in jail, after he was convicted of being given a blow-job by a local 16 year old girl. The police sergeant was jailed after the girl reported the act to the police, even though she was over the age of consent and admitted the crime had been consensual.

"The (oral sex) act by itself is an offence," Singapore lawyer Subhas Anandan explained (The Straits Times).

"It is not a question of consent or no consent. Even between consenting people, it is an offence."

The unlucky cop's sentence came a week after new Singaporean lifestyle magazine Her World Body revealed that seven out of ten women living in the tropical island state 'prefer to have sex in the dark', while one in ten admitted they've never had an orgasm.
