Cops stormed the DJ booth and forced Ray Roc to stop DJing this week, after a bouncer was shot and wounded outside a Polish club. The New York house legend had been spinning at Sfinks in Sopot when police burst into the DJ booth.

"It was a surreal experience. Thank god nobody was seriously injured," said Roc.

"I will however return back to the venue to make up for lost time. The crowd were fantastic, and it was a great place to visit."

In better news for Roc, Kickin Music release two of his remixes of Rey De Copas Balearic anthem Frontera Del Ensueno in the April. The Latin tinged house anthem first emerged in the late 80s and the new versions are being formally launched at the upcoming Miami Music conference. Roc will also be launching his new label Flexible Records at the annual weekly event.
