Acid house former Shoom promoter Jenny Rampling is returning to London clubland next week to host an 'omnisexual' Boxing Day event at East London's 291 Gallery.

"I really feel there's a gap out there in London, for a fun, mixed, gay club, I don't like the divide between gays and straights," Jenny told Skrufff this week.

"I like to see trannies (transvestites- camp ed) next to straight guys, next to girls having fun. There should be somewhere for people to go like that," she said.

Calling the night Shiva ('the name reflects my personality- Shiva is the God of dance' she explained) she's also applied the same mixed-up philosophy to the music, combining Danny Rampling, Mark Moore, Steve Thomas (DTPM) and Terry Farley (of Boys Own renown). The door policy will also be relaxed, Jenny stressed.

"I like people to be individual, they can come as they like," said Jenny.

"The idea of the party is come as yourself."

Tickets cost £20 from Trax, 54 Greek St London W1.
