We have all been there, heard a track and wanted to know what it was. Well for UK music lovers it has all become possible, with the help of Shazam - the mobile phone music recognition service.

Shazam enables anyone who loves music to identify any piece of music. Whether in a club, a pub or shop, listening to the radio, or watching TV, if you hear a track and don't know what it is, you dial '2580' from your mobile, point it towards the source of the music and in around 30 seconds you'll receive a text giving you the name of the artist and the title of the track.

Over a 1/3 million people have already used the service in the UK. With Room 5 ft. Oliver Cheatham's Make Luv hitting number one on the Shazam Charts.
