Uday Hussein, the notoriously evil son of Saddam Hussein, nurtured his taste for violence in money conscious London nightclubs, according to a report in this week's Mirror.

"Uday pitched up at Zenon in Piccadilly with half a dozen mates in 1989, they all got blind drunk and when they started fighting among themselves, the bouncers threw them out," an unnamed night clubber told the tabloid.

"Uday called the owner the next day to apologise and ask if he could come again that night. As he had spent £2,000 the night before, the owner said yes."

More recently Uday (killed last week by US special forces) dealt with irritating friends and love rivals by decapitating some and tossing at least two into a cage filled with ravenous lions, the Sunday Times claimed this week.
