Roger Sanchez will be arriving early before his upcoming 8 hour DJ set at Turnmills on December 20, to personally place joss sticks and incense candles throughout the East London venue.

A spokesman for the club told Skrufff they're expecting the superstar house jock to be in around 8pm, giving him plenty of time to odorise the club before he starts his set at 10pm.

"I'm not a hippy, but I love the sense of peace and calmness that candles and incense bring to my vibe, they help me to bring out my spirituality and get back in touch with myself, and my emotions," Sanchez told Benedetta Skrufff in an interview last year.

"Candles are great because their light creates a mood. I prefer rooms that are dark, very emotive, and very sensual. Smell is very important to me, too, I hate cigarette smoke."

His anti-tobacco stance mirrors that of fellow New York jock Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales, who told Skrufff recently 'I think the New York smoking ban is the best thing that ever happened."

"It's annoying when you're in a restaurant trying to enjoy your food and have someone smoking from the back," the Master At Work added.

"It's the most disgusting thing, ever."
