Punk-Funk DJ Mag Blasts Stupid Haircut Journos

Career orientated journalists are most to blame for the constant emergence of manufactured genres, DJ Magazine claimed this week in a 3 page special report on Next Big Thing genres.

"The pigeon-holers are the wannabes, the people you see hanging around Shoreditch (East London), satchel wearing, stupid haircut wannabes," DJ Hype told the magazine.

"I don't pay any attention to these people. Why would I- They're idiots."

DJ's article coincided with Muzik magazine unveiling their latest new genre 'disco-punk' which itself followed DJ own eulogy of 'punk-funk', last month.

"Punk-funk guitars in a dance music publication, what is going on-" they poignantly asked, in the February 1st issue's editorial introductio (presumably unironically).
