Pulseradio & has joined forces with 3D World, Australia's largest dance street magazine, to bring a cross-platform initiative to the Australian dance and electronic music community.

Officially launching on October 1, Pulseradio will broadcast a new interactive show highlighting the best of the 3DWorld magazine each week.

The show will bring CD and vinyl reviews from the current issue to life so that Australian listeners can hear them without having to make the trek to the shops.

It will also bring 3D's what's on guide, event reviews, to life as well as some "rabble-rabble" from the hosts.

Najla Haddad, 3D's editor of Turn On, Tune In commented "People can read about new music, but they'll have to get to a store to hear it, presuming they don't get distracted along the way. People want to be able to hear the tunes when they read about them, so they know whether to go to the store or not. The 3D Show is a great way to give people that avenue."

3D General Manager Jade Harley commented "We're really excited by the concept of adding an audio dimension to 3D World. It's a theme you'll hear a lot about at 3D this year. Pulse have always been a very cool crowd and we're pleased to be doing this project with them."

"It's also a good avenue to expand our Melbourne content and presence." she said.

Listeners can interact and find out more about the tracks being played via the Pulse chat room, and international listeners can get a feel for what's happening on the Australian east coast.

Todd Davies, Pulseradio's Australian team leader commented "Collaborations like this are great for the punters. It brings it all to life and allows people to hear about what's going on while it's fresh. It's great reinforcement for the music and sponsors, but ultimately it's the punters who win out. And that's the most important thing."

"We've done similar collaborations in the US and UK, but I'm particularly excited about 3D. It's a great magazine and web-site by international standards and the concept they've developed is vibrant and refreshing." he said.

Commencing this week, the show can be heard on Wednesday nights at 7pm, at www.pulseradio.net.
