Pulse was voted by About.com best on the net in 2001. This was a big coup, ousting Ministry of Sound to take the title. As About.com's Dance Music editor Jennifer Warner stated at the time "the fact that you ousted Ministry of Sound from holding that honor, which they've held nearly forever, is quite incredible."

2002 saw a lot of change in the industry and some movement in players in the webcasting industry and also in the net game generally.

In 2003, Pulse relaunched it's site with an renewed focus on breaking new talent. This recently gained the attention of About.com's current Dance Music Editor, Ron Slomowicz. His response was an enthusiastic comment that the Pulseradio site is "exceptional" and Pulse again has been granted the title of being best on the net.

"Pulse will be embarking on a series of exciting projects in Australia in the coming months. We'll keep you posted so you're the first to know."
