Prince Harry Set Loose In The World's Gay E Capital

Royal bad boy Prince Harry arrived in Sydney this week, just as condom manufacturers Durex published a survey revealing Australia is the gayest country in the world.

According to the study, almost one in five Australians (17%) are involved in gay or lesbian relationships, the highest ratio of gay to straight partnerships in the world (Washington Times). The country was also branded the ecstasy capital of the world this week, in the United Nations' latest study on global drug trends.

Royal press officer Colleen Harris said she's expecting the pot-smoking prince to enjoy his four month trip down under.

"It would be nice, now and again, to sample Australian hospitality- so I hope he has some fun as well as working hard," she told the London Standard.

"Prince Harry is a young man who wants to broaden his horizons."

Locals are also planning to welcome the teenage red head with open arms, the (UK) Daily Telegraph reported, including Peter Braithwaite, a barman from the Royal Hotel in Mandurama (near where the Prince is believed to be staying).

"Harry sounds like he enjoys a drink," Mr Braithwaite told the newspaper.

"So he'll fit right in."
