Notorious bad boy rocker Bobby Gillespie is having a mid-life crisis and renouncing his rabble-rousing ways, according to a report in this week's Standard.

"He's not getting any younger and the time is right," a 'friend' told the paper.

"He feels middle-aged so he decided it was time to settle down."

The singer, who scandalised America with 2001's track Bomb The Pentagon, is apparently getting married in the summer after his long term girlfriend and mother of his baby Katie England accepted his proposal over Xmas.
