In a career of over 20 years, New York hip-hop founding father AFRIKA BAMBAATAA has worked with JAMES BROWN, LEFTFIELD, GEORGE CLINTON, STING, BILL LASWELL, BOOTSY COLLINS, JUNGLE BROTHERS, SLY & ROBBIE, UB40 and BOY GEORGE.

In 1990 he made LIFE magazine's "Most Important Americans of the 20th Century" issue and SOURCE magazine has recently honoured him with the esteemed "Pioneer Award" in recognition of his influential music and his creative leadership.
