Oakenfold Collaborator Brands Bush Supporters As 'Swine'

Outspoken author Hunter S Thompson, who guest-starred on Paul Oakenfold's album Bunkka last year, has condemned Americans who voted for George Bush as "flag-sucking halfwits" in his new memoir Kingdom Of Fear.

The writer of classic counter-culture tale Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas says Americans who voted for the Republican leader are 'swine,… , who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush', in his new book, describing himself as 'the one who speaks for the spirit of freedom and decency in you."

Whether Oakenfold shares Thompson's sentiments is unclear though several months ago he revealed he 'likes the fact Hunter is dangerous because he speaks the truth' (3D World).

Speaking to Skrufff's man in China Seb Bayne, the world's top DJ confirmed the pair have subsequently maintained a relationship.

"I speak to Hunter every time I am in his part of the world," he said.

"It was an honour working with him."
