Lazy Dog, the club night started by DJ's Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl) and Jay Hannan at the Notting Hill Arts Club, is to end after five years in business, on May 16.

The pair have stated that they wish to move on to new, separate projects. Jay will launch a bi weekly Sunday night (under a new name to be announced) at the Notting Hill Arts Club on May 11. Apparently we can expect Jay's usual brand of 'electrically charged deep house'.

Additionally, Jay will be launching a new label called 'Society Heights', whose first release will be Kaskades. Ben meanwhile is to announce his plans shortly. As a farewell, two parties are scheduled, embracing the venues where they have made their name. One will take place at the Notting Hill Arts Club on April 27, with the final event, celebrating both their 5th Birthday and the end of an era, will take place at The End on May 16.

Advance tickets for The End will be made available soon. For more information visit www.lazydogclub.com or www.nottinghillartsclub.com/jayhannan.htm
