Mixmag Plug PMA Killer Ecstasy

British dance magazine Mixmag have published yet another highly controversial drug related article in their latest issue, suggesting notorious killer pill PMA should be the 'drug of choice' for Aries and Gemini clubbers.

The references appear as an astrology feature called Mystic Mong, which includes sign by sign guides to what drugs their readers should use.

Although the Mixmag article is clearly written in a flippant style, nearly 20 deaths were attributed to tablets containing PMA sold as ecstasy in 2000, according to reports on specialist drug site erowid.org

Two recent fatalities at this year's Coolworld New Years Eve festival in San Francisco were also linked to PMA in an article in the San Francisco Chronicle, with experts suggesting the ultra strong, slow acting drug had been passed off again as ecstasy.

Ecstasy testing kits promoted by harm reduction advocates are specifically designed to identify PMA and leading impartial drug website erowid.org displays articles about PMA related fatalities going back to the early 70s. PMA should be avoided on all occasions.
