Mixed Business

Mixed business is a portable exhibition space for music and art featuring three of Australia's finest. DJ Simon Caldwell, producer Mako and visual artist Jay Ryves. It's also a collaborative CD series that allows visual artists to show their work and sonic artists to showcase their skills.

The first chapter is about to be released, with Simon seductively mixing together the funk of Edwin Starr, with the schmooze of Kenny Hawkes, the gospel of Nat Adderley, and the modern soul of Amp Fiddler with a whole lot of sonic exploration in between.

To celebrate, they're touring Australia, touching down in Melbourne on Friday November 7 @ Honkytonks.
