Ministry Ditch House and The Dome On NYE

Ministry Of Sound's New Years Eve bash, taking place this year at their South London headquarters instead of the Millennium Dome, will be sound-tracked by the R&B, UK garage and drum & bass music associated with their Friday night event Smooth, the club announced this week.

"We feel that Smoove is the strongest candidate for NYE, it has a regular and loyal following, is leading the way for clubbing at present and will also present a breakthrough as it goes against the Ministry norm," said Michelle Hunter, promotions manager for the club.

"We have presented house music for many years, so doing a pure urban music event will bring in a challenge, a momentous occasion for the club and most importantly an astounding and not to be missed NYE's party."
