Jamie Palumbo, the super-Toff owner of the Ministry Of Sound, has maintained his position as the richest club person in the Sunday Times' latest rich list with an estimated fortune of £136million. His latest fortune was £1million higher than his estimated wealth in 2002, though the year before the Times said he was worth £150million.

The former head boy of Eton has made the bulk of his wealth from his South London clubbing empire, the paper reported, even though he stepped down recently from the conglomerate's day to day operations.

Also rising up the rich list this year was fellow Etonian uber-toff Prince Harry whose joint fortune with brother Wills adds up to a relatively trifling £28million. The notorious prince reportedly made most of his fortune by inheriting it from his mother Princess Di, and it remains unclear whether the 18 year old former cannabis user has any plans to follow Palumbo into the nightclub industry.
