Unsurprisingly, Massive Attack have been forced to postpone the first leg of their world tour, due to the child porn allegations made against Robert Del Naja.

Naja, who was responsible for the bulk of Massive Attack's latest album '100th Window', wishes to clear his name before leaving the UK.

Massive Attack therefore anticipate, that although their New Zealand (Wellington and Auckland) dates have been cancelled, that the outfits world tour will be able to commence in Melbourne, Australia, on March 11.

Massive Attack's promoter said "It is with deep regret that Massive Attack have been forced to reschedule the performances. Robert Del Naja feels unable to travel outside the UK until his name is cleared of the allegations that have been recently made against him. As Del Naja anticipates a positive outcome of these matters in the near future, he fully expects to be able to travel to Australia at the end of the week and to commence Massive Attack's world tour in Melbourne on March 11. Robert wholeheartedly apologises to Massive Attack's fans in New Zealand and sincerely hopes people understand the impossible position in which he has been placed."
