Magnetic Summer sees a shift from our previous events to a weekly format in more intimate surroundings.
With a music policy designed for lazy Summer Sunday afternoons: balearic house and sun-kissed breaks, Magnetic Summer every Sunday at Mode will provide the perfect way to round out the weekend.
Last year Magnetic South "initiated" many young DJs through its demo-decks competiton and it is pleasing to see two of these guys land residencies at Magnetic Summer.
We welcome Anyo and Ganz to the Magnetic Summer decks every week and look forward to new opportunities for young DJs as we continue our commitment to giving young DJs a foot in the door: the demo decks competition is on again (enter here) and you'll be able to cop an earful from these freshies every week at Magnetic Summer.
We will also be featuring the people we believe to be the true heroes of the Melbourne House scene every week. You can see a full DJ roster here.
Other good news: Half-price cocktails between 5pm and 7pm and a Magnetic Summer Love Potion dispensed at various times throughout the afternoon and evening.
