Lying Lovers Watch Their Friends

One in ten people have secretly had sex with their best friend's partner, with men almost twice as likely to do it as women, according to the latest sex survey carried out for Durex Condoms.

'Half would keep quiet about being unfaithful' generally, the poll also discovered with a further one in five (20%) lying to a partner about having an STD (sexually transmitted disease). One third of Brits also apparently never tell their partners their deepest sexual desires (Mirror).

Durex's findings coincided with the publication of an alarming United Nations report on the rise of HIV infections, which suggested a significant proportion of the 40,000 new cases in America last year afflicted bisexual Afro-Americans, a large proportion of whom are apparently concealing their bisexuality from their female lovers.

"The secrecy surrounding such overlapping risk behaviour seems rooted mainly in the stigma that remains attached to homosexuality," the UNAIDS' report said.
