Kashpoint, the theatrical/ electro club which has been taking over a paddle steamer on the River Thames every Thursday night, is going back ashore, after the owners of the boat, the Tattersall Castle, announced they'll be putting the ship into dry dock.

"The boat needs its bottom scraping," Kashpoint promoter Matthew Galore told Skrufff.

"It's having its first refit in 40 years. It's a bit of a shame because we've been packed in recent weeks but Hey ho."

Kashpoint will be moving from venue to venue over the next few weeks, Matthew confirmed, starting at Brixton's Substation South next Thursday (September 25).

"I see the club going a little more underground until we find a new venue to settle in," he added. "The week after SubStation South we're doing the after-party for Hung, Drawn & Quartered, a huge event in Shoreditch."

"But we will never miss a week. People can always find out where we are by checking on the website. The club will be on every Thursday, somewhere," he promised.
