London's Chunnel Club Re-opens As Studio 33

Former Ministry promoter DJ Gareth Cooke is launching another new club in London, Studio 33, at the venue formerly known as the Chunnel Club, in Vauxhall (South London). The arches-style club has had a £2.5million refit and looks 'totally different with a different layout' (according to Matt's press agents) and will be specialising in house, garage and R&B.

"The biggest coup for me is the partnership of Jay Pender from World Dance, R&B don Matt White and myself, creating a new night," said Gareth.

"Especially after how well the successful SMOOVE night went on to be".

The club has a capacity of 750 (considerably less than Ministry's 2,000 capacity and will apparently be concentrating on Friday and Saturday night events.
