Underground house club Crash, which helped crossover DJs including Tom Stephan and Princess Julia, is closing 'temporarily' just two weeks after switching venue to Club Colosseum, just down the road.

"Crash recently presented two parties at Vauxhall's Club Colosseum which, although very well received, didn't stay true to the original Crash ethos," said Crash promoter Jim Stanton.

"(Crash is) a club for the capital's sexiest boys and girls, the most exciting, cutting edge musical programming and a deep, dark and horny vibe, the Coloseum had a different feeling."

Somewhat confusingly Crash's original arches site on Gooding Street (also in Vauxhall) will be retaining the Crash name and will be hosting Sleaze every Saturday night.
