Legendary house producer Kevin Saunderson makes a rare London DJ appearance next week when he headlines Base's next event at The End. Forming Inner City in the mid 80s, the Chicago producer scored massive international hits with Good Life and Big Fun in 1989, while his debut album Paradise sold over 6 million copies worldwide.

Going to school with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, he's nowadays rightly revered as a genuine pioneer of house. His mother was also a member of the Marvellettes, one of Motown Records' most successful girl groups of the 60s.
