Judge Jules - Dressing Like a Fag

Judge Jules headlines this year's Gay Pride Festival in Hyde Park, alongside Boy George, Cantankerous and guest DJs including Mark Moore and Alex Silverfish. The event will be Jules' fourth consecutive Pride event, and one he always looks forward to, he told Skrufff in a recent interview.

"I've noticed in Ibiza from my club that I've got a reasonably big gay following, because of the music I play," said Jules.

A relative newcomer to Hyde Park (''I've been to Speakers' Corner on a Sunday on a couple of occasions, but that's about it') the radio star revealed he expects to blend in seamlessly.

"I dress extremely, er… faggily (gay), if that's the right word," Jules continued.

"So I'll be wearing the normal loud camp stuff. I dress like I should be at Pride every day of the week, anyway."

"Generally, if you're a straight DJ you don't get booked on the gay scene, which is a pity because music should know no boundaries," he added.

"You should be judged on your music not your sexuality, provided you're not a bigoted person, which I certainly am not."
