Judge Jules Kicks Off Ibiza's Judgement Sunday (8 June)

Judge Jules launches his new season in Ibiza this weekend (June 8) when he returns to San Antonio's Eden for his fourth consecutive year. Speaking to Skrufff last month the Radio 1 favourite revealed he's optimistic about the season ahead, irrespective of the current slump in international tourism.

"Last season Ibiza was down in numbers though we were still one of the two or three most successful clubs on the island, so we're not over-concerned about this season," said Jules.

"I think people will always love going to Ibiza, though external factors do play a role. The World Cup last summer, for example, had a huge effect on all tourist resorts. And any future acts of terrorism could have serious implications for tourist numbers," he pointed out.

"20% fewer young people went on holiday last year and to me that's clearly a sign of the seeds of recession. I've seen recession for 18 months, despite what the British Government is saying. I don't think they're fooling anybody, anymore."

Joining him this Sunday are regular support DJs Eddie Halliwell, John Kelly and Daniel Kelly. Future guests include Anne Savage (June 22) and Ferry Corsten (June 29).
