Australian electronic live act INFUSION is heading to our shores. The 3-man phenomenon return after sensational reviews at Winter Music Conference 2003 and stunning accolades in their homeland, as well as the UK and Japan. For their Canadian debut and extended US tour, it will be the first-time for many to experience their dynamically charged live show. Think Underworld only 20 years younger!

At a time when everybody wants to be a DJ, there are few electronic acts that deliver on the same level as a rock band with spontaneity, enthusiasm and a 100% live performance like INFUSION. As front man Jaime Stevens says, "when we play live, it's about the energy." With a mixture of synths, vocals, breaks, house and big beats, their live music defies conventional genres but can be classified as energetic, electronic dance music.

An electronic live act not to be missed! INFUSION are Jamie Stevens, Manuel Sharrad and Frank Xavier (on Audio Therapy, Marine Parade, Positiva, SAW.Recordings and Thunk Recordings.)

From the studio, their #1 track "Legacy" won Best Single at the 2002 Australian Dance Music Awards. The remixes, Infusion's Synaesthesia Dub and the Junkie XL Mix were released on Audiotherapy to an exceptional response. The vinyl pressings have now sold out thrice(!), and has been charted, played and lauded by just about every DJ including Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, and Max Graham; been caned on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong and John Digweed on KISS FM; and debuted at #1 on the US Balance Promote Chart. The Junkie XL mix was used as the soundtrack for the promotional trailers for the next season of ABC's hit spy series "Alias". It was also named "Breaks Single Of The Month" in both Jockey Slut and M8 Magazine in the UK.

Another original production hit "Dead Souls" has just been released on Marine Parade and has been awarded "8/8 - Infusion deliver one of their best tracks to date" in M8 Magazine, "4 stars - an incredible journey" in IDJ and "4 stars" in DJ Magazine.

Infusion have also collaborated two tracks "Nightmare" and "Aquaman" on Junkie XL's forthcoming album "Radio JXL, A Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin" with other renown artists; Robert Smith from The Cure, Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, and Sasha. Also, look for upcoming remixes this Summer 2003 for Adam Freeland "We Want Your Soul" on Marine Parade, Cass "Kenjin" (Infusion Remix) on SAW.Recordings and Transformer 2 "Just Can't Get Enough" (Infusion Remix) on Positiva in honor of their 10th anniversary.

In other production news, Jamie Stevens and Frank Xavier of INFUSION spent early 2001 working with seminal breaks king Adam Freeland, producing and writing stunning tracks for his debut artist album due later this year. One of the tracks 'Big Wednesday', has been licensed for use in the end credits for the DVD of the hugely popular anime series The Matrix 'The Animatrix'.
